With this article today we are going to share the Miserable Truth behind Ultrasound Reports, Yesterday Morning 28th of December Mr Ashok Kumar Upadhyay S/O Mr. Dev Dutt, Age – 60 Years;
Visited SSOHM Clinic to meet Dr R K Aggarwal. He also had a Sonography report of dated 24th December, the report showed Multiple echogenic Foci, measuring approx 8 mm in sizes. It also had strong posterior acoustic shadowing – Suggestive of STONES.
It also showed One Echogenic Focus in Right kidney measuring 6 MM of size, report is attached below.
These are the findings –
- Multiple Gall Bladder Stones measuring 8 MM of sizes.
- Right Renal Calculus measuring 6 MM of sizes.
Being a Smart Patient, Before consulting with Doctor R K Aggarwal Mr Ashok went Mittal Diagnostic & Research Center and underwent a new sonography, after getting the reports Mr Ashok was in shock as it showed multiple dense echogenic foci, Largest measuring ~14.1 MM of size. It also showed lumen with posterior acoustic shadowing with Echogenic sludge in Gallbladder.
Now he had two ultrasound scans one showing – 8 mm Multiple gallbladder stones another showing 14.1 mm Multiple gallstones,
Both sonography tests were done on the same day! 24th, December; 2017.
It was also found that the patient has Gallbladder stones as well as Kidney Stones, It was confirmed with both the reports.
